FictionAddiction.NET provides you with the opportunity to showcase your work. To do so, you must register as a member and agree to our Terms of Service. When you register, you indicate you have read and agree to the following terms:

1. You must provide accurate registration information
   Information such as your Email address and age is required to become a member. FictionAddiction.NET will not release this private information to anyone. Providing your personal information prevents misuse of FictionAddiction.NET's many features. Accounts with misleading or inaccurate information are subject to termination.

2. All work you submit must be your own
   Any disputes or allegations of plagiarism are between you and the accuser. FictionAddiction.NET bears no responsibility as to the originality of work submitted. However, work found not to be your own will result in your account being terminated.

3. You always hold the rights to your work
   You are free to publish, edit and delete your work on FictionAddiction.NET. You can simultaneously publish any of your work as long as the other publishing avenues you are pursuing accept such submissions. Deleting your work does not close your account. To close your account, visit Member Services.

4. Promoting Your Work
   When you submit your writing, the FictionAddiction.NET system automatically generates a unique Web site address for that particular item. You are free to promote your work using your unique URL for each piece of your writing.

5. Submission Limitations
   FictionAddiction.NET reserves the right to refuse content judged inappropriate for general audiences. These types of work include, but are not limited to:
   • Racism
   • Sexism
   • Excessive Profanity
   • Defamation
   • Works That Encourage Illegal Activity

   In addition, content with no relevant substance such as advertisements, announcements, chain letters, etc. will be removed from the site and your account will be subject to termination.

   FictionAddiction.NET does not pre-screen content but always retains the rights to remove any content that violates the Terms of Service.

6. Authors Wanting to Promote Their Book
   If you are an author wanting to promote your work, posting your book excerpts is acceptable. However, book jacket copy or other promotional hype will result in your post being deleted.

   The Authors Showcase allows members to display their talent through writing. Posts containing no literary value, such as blatant self-promotion, will be removed and your account will be subject to termination.

7. Privacy Information
   FictionAddiction.NET maintains a strict privacy policy for the benefit of all visitors. Your information will never be shared.

8. Age Restrictions
   The work of young writers is certainly welcome. You must acquire your parent's written permission to obtain a member name and password, though.

9. Internet Service Fees Excluded
   FictionAddiction.NET is an Internet enterprise exclusively. As such, visitors are solely responsible for maintaining their own Internet access, Email addresses and any fees that may to apply to those services.

10. Limits on Liability
    FictionAddiction.NET will not be responsible for damages including, but not limited to, deletion of your work, another member's actions, etc.
